How to Use Tellurium Granules to Make Thermal Analysis Cup?
Table of Contents
Introduction
Typical grain size of our tellurium granules is 0.5-2.0 mm or 1-3 mm to our valued customers in order to produce cast iron thermal analysis sample cups. The sampling cup is characterized by its cup body with peritoneal resin sand, through a special mold manufacturing. The production process is as follows
Molding of Sample cups
Die assembly and shoot sand under the pressure of 0.2 Mpa. Then under the pressure of 0.5 Mpa, keep pressure and heating under the temperature of 260~280℃ for 1 minute, and finally open the mold to take the cup. The thermal and physical properties of the cup are required to be: thermal conductivity at 1.7~1.9×10-3 (cal/cm·s·℃), specific heat at 2.0~2.2×10-1 (cal/g·℃), density of the cup material at 1.5~1.6 (g/cm3) .
Thermal Analysis
Thermal analysis mean capturing and analyzing the temperature of a sample of molten iron during cooling and solidification. The carbon equivalent, carbon content and silicon content of the molten iron can be calculated by measuring the liquid and solid phase line temperatures of the molten iron sample in the sample cup. The composition of cast iron can be calculated using the appropriate formula in the meter.
Tellurium Granules for Thermal Analysis Cup
As our regular customers, Heraeus has a wide range of carburizing cups suitable for different irons such as alloyed, unalloyed, grey cast iron or white cast iron. The molten iron can either be taken from the cupola’s molten iron runners or from the electric furnace or intermediate ladle.
Conclusion
A stable supply raw materials, less impurities, particle size can be customized for our tellurium grains. And packaging specifications customized, can make customers easy to use. Stable quality, use assured, no risk.
